CrimsonCommerce is an experimental ecommerce platform build using a functional programming approach and leveraging the power of Erlang/Elixir and the Phoenix framework.

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.
This is an example of how to list things you need to use the software and how to install them.
- Elixir https://elixir-lang.org/install.html
- Phoenix
mix archive.install hex phx_new 1.4.10
- Node.js
npm install npm@latest -g
- Clone the repo
git clone https:://github.com/amacgregor/crimson_commerce.git
- Install Elixir dependencies packages
mix deps.get
- Create and Migrate the database with
mix ecto.setup
- Install the Node.js dependencies
cd apps/crimson_commerce_web/assets && npm install
- Start the application
mix phx.server
