Invalid Caption Tag

There seems to be an issue when this plugin is enabled: https://wordpress.org/plugins/delicious-recipes/. The caption tag generated with one of the blocks on this plugin has an invalid <span> and <img> tag.

Can you provide some additional detail here? Is the HTML generated by the Delicious Recipes plugin invalid, or is it invalid only after being processed by this plugin?
