Our event management process is hindered by the lack of flexibility in creating tickets for physical point-of-sale locations. Currently, we can't efficiently generate non-personalized tickets through the admin interface for our pre-sale points. This limitation forces us to use workarounds that are time-consuming and prone to errors.
Describe the solution you'd like
We'd like alf.io to implement a bulk ticket creation feature in the admin interface with the following capabilities:
Generate multiple non-personalized tickets at once for a specific event.
Option to disable mandatory email requirement for these admin-created tickets.
Ability to designate these tickets as part of a separate point-of-sale allocation.
Customizable fields for bulk-created tickets, allowing admins to specify which information is required or optional.
Integration of these point-of-sale tickets into event reports, with the ability to distinguish them from online sales.
Describe alternatives you've considered
We've considered manually creating individual tickets through the current interface, but this is extremely time-consuming for large events. We've also explored using third-party tools to manage offline sales, but this creates data synchronization issues and complicates our overall ticketing process.
Additional context
This feature would be particularly beneficial for events with a significant offline sales component, such as local festivals or community events where many tickets are sold through local businesses or organizations. It would allow for a more seamless integration of online and offline ticket sales within the alf.io system, improving overall event management efficiency.
