Ticket reservations via CSV import

Hello,

I would like to add reservations from a CSV file. All entries should get an email with the reservation and payment information. After I see the payment and set the reservation as paid, a ticket email should be sent in order to use the app for registration at the event.
I tried "Actions -> create reservation" first. This does not seem to work for my case as I don't have a main contact to use here.
Same with "Actions -> import attendies", which also requires "Contact Info". Upload does not work in v.2.0-M4-2402-3.
After that I tried "Actions -> Check-in" which allows to add from CSV directly, but then payment is not pending.

What am I missing?
Any way to achieve mass reservations without central contact information?

Update:
I tried with hidden categories and "send invitation". This requires the participant to enter Name, Surname and Email, which were already provided in the CSV with the invitation. That seems to add unnecessary effort.
