Controls overlap with the main screen

See the attached screenshots.
I think there is enough space above/below the main field to place the controls.
At least in vertical mode it should be possible to move the main field a bit up and fit the controls without overlap.

Also it would be nice to have their size adaptable to fat fingers. On iPad mini the controls are too small and it’s easy to misclick.
