I made an Acquia support ticket for this minor issue but it isn't being handled in any meaningful way, so I'm posting it here.

When the Site Studio Content Hub module is installed the site throws an error message saying that both the sitestudio_contenhub_publisher and sitestudio_contenthub_subscriber modules are required.

However, those modules list contenthub_subscriber and contenthub_publisher as their own requirements. We've been instructed by Acquia's TAM and PS teams that only in rare circumstances should we have sites acting as both publisher and subscriber. This dependency chain is forcing a setup where all sites are both publishers and subscribers.

For now we just ignore this error message on the sites that serve as only publisher or only subscribers. This isn't a serious issue, but it might be worth rethinking the dependencies so that they are more in line with prescribe implementation of Content Hub.
