Using LARS with WebSphere Liberty

Use LARS as an on-site mirror for WebSphere Liberty features

One use case for LARS is to provide a mirror of parts of the WebSphere Liberty repository inside a firewall. Once your LARS server is up and running, it needs to be populated with features for your version of WebSphere Liberty. The simplest way to do this is:

  • Download a zip of all the features for your version of WebSphere Liberty from IBM Fix Central (registration required)
  • Unzip to a local directory
  • Upload the features to your LARS instance using larsClient

Install features from LARS into a WebSphere Liberty server
