SSM: "Simple Stock Management"

Scope

Sync stock quantities for each line between: SSM Warehouse Account, SSM store account for SW and the SW store.

In effect, the SSM SW store account would be a mirror of SW stock and the system would work like this:

Add stock to SW

Login to SSM SW store account > manually transfer stock from SSM warehouse > that stock transfer (increase in units of the line) is automatically synced over to the SW store and the SW stock qty of that line incremented accordingly.

SW sale occurs

Units sold from a line in SW automatically synced over to SSM store account > SSM SW store account stock level decremented accordingly.

Stock count

Hit the stock take button on the SSM SW store account to generate a stock count report, in exactly the same way as all other store accounts.

Integration process

Use of SW APIs to handle stock transfer notification on SW, and webhooks to handle sale notification on SSM.
