Toulouse JAM - Atelier Jenkins Pipeline

Prerequisites

• A laptop :-)

• Git available on the machine (and basic knowledge)

• GitHub account

• IntelliJ IDEA installed (for GDSL specific parts/demo), for other any other IDE/text editor will do

Workshops

Goal: explore Jenkins Pipeline features in the context of Continuous Delivery

There will be 3 main parts during the workshop. The content shall be updated progressively on this repository by the trainers.

Before each new part, a presentation will be done to introduce new concepts & features bits by bits.

Each part has its own file:

• workshop1.adoc - Jenkins Pipeline Basics

• workshop2.adoc - Pipeline As Code

• workshop3.adoc - Shared libraries and Deployment

Getting connection informations

You have been given a unique number. (If not, please shout! :-)).

• With your browser, please open https://jenkins-workshop.pailloncy.fr/${MY_NUMBER}.txt using the provided credentials. You should see the informations for your own infrastructure for the workshop (there is one per attendee).

• Try to connect to your jenkins : http://${IP_JENKINS}:8080/
