Minimize on start doesn't fully minimize

When running at start-up, with the minimize option, wowthing's window doesn't show and it's not on the taskbar (as expected), but a "shell" of the window appears in the alt-tab list (unexpected).

You can see this unfinished window in the first screenshot.
I selected wowthing in the alt-tab list and it shows fine in the second screenshot.
After closing, wowthing is now properly minimized in the third screenshot.

As a slightly related issue, the notification that wowthing is minimized (third screenshot) shows up every single time you close it. I would like that disabled please, or at least shown only once if you really want it.
