These pictures are from an installation by Dermot Sweeney. They can be taken as an example of how to do the wiring on an IC BD M5 PAL console.

  1. Stick a few strips of insulation tape to the mainboard, in order to prepare a site for the Nano:

  2. Solder wires to the Player 1 controller port (a ribbon cable is perfect for this purpose) and bring the wires close to the site prepared for the Nano:

  3. Desolder pins from the Nano and attach wires directly to it:

  4. Add wires for the reset button:

  5. Complete installation, top side:
