When you install this plugin from wordpress admin, it does not include the assets folder with images. This leads to broken images in the wordpress admin.

PHP 7.2
Wordpress 4.9.6

Clicked "Add New" from plugins page in wordpress admin.
Installed and activated the plugin.

Sparkpost logos in wordpress are broken images. Logged in via ssh and assets folder is not there.

I can download this repo and upload it manually of course, but this isn't ideal when working with Wordpress.

Seems like the assets folder is missing on WordPress.org version, that's why the logo is broken on the settings page.

I'm getting the same issue (latest version 3.2.0):

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 /wp-content/plugins/sparkpost/assets/styles.css?ver=5.0
