Feature request? Ability to change bridge pattern

My current issue is I am printing doughnuts, actually a circular gasket seal, like a flat bottom hollow/open torus, and at the top of it's internal arc, I get a section Orca stiches around that and leaves a long straight section that gets poorly covered. I end up with several threads of un connected filament (SOFT TPU).

Maybe it is user error in how I have setup the bridge layer, but if that layer can be done with Octagram Spiral, it would have a much better structure.
