Using a different support material from the base and interface for the body of the support

I see there are options to change filament used for the support base and interface, and I'm interested in using the normal printing filament for the body of the supports and a soluble filament for the base and the interface to save on that filament. However, if I set the filaments for base and interface to a different filament from the primary material, the entire support is printed in that filament. I have to place supports on the model, so in that case, is it possible to use a soluble filament only for the base that would contact the model, print the rest of the support in the normal, cheaper filament, and change back to the soluble filament for the interface?
