The scarf joint length right now is a constant length, or the entire length of the loop.
Would like to be able to define a variable length
In some cases the geometry have a variable corner, and it can minimize the appearance of the scarf border if the length matches the edge length.
To do this either the length can auto-snap to the closest corner (with angle threshold),
OR it can take a percentage length, so a n-size loop can be relative to it.
The hack right now is to use entire length, then use a step size that is a multiple of the sides, but this can produce a large g-code file,
and cannot generalize to non-uniform edges.
