No longer possible to split SVGs or STLs (loaded as modifier). Changed behaviour since 1.9

I used to be able to add an SVG as a modifier to a part, then split it. This is no longer possible as of 2.0.0.

Just to be clear, the steps to repeat are:

1. Load any STL.
2. Load any STL or SVG as a modifier to the STL from (1)
3. Right click on the added STL or SVG (from step 2) and "Split" to parts or objects. Works in 1.9. Does not in 2.0

Using the AppImage on POP OS

Not sure if this was intended or not, but it's a showstopper for yours truly.

I have tried this many many times in various different ways and been unable to make it work. In 1.9 it was so easy. Just load the SVG and split (into parts or objects)....

I have included an SVG file, but any svg has been the same. STL too, Just cannot split them when loaded as a modifier (unless I use 1.9).
