Feature Suggestion: Bulk Bone Reordering #85
Comments
It's not clear how this would work from a UI perspective since the reordering happens in the list view instead of the hierarchy. It's hard to figure out which bones need to move just by looking at the list, and reordering the heirarchy view would be fairly involved. There are only two cases I've seen of needing to reorder multiple bone. Matching the existing bone order is available as a menu option. Added new bones to an existing bone order isn't something that has been fully figured out yet. |
I was just thinking you’d be able to select multiple bones (either with checkmarks or something) and then you move them up in a group, leaving their parent bones and whatnot together just moving the clump of bones as one, I’ve got hella bones connected to my characters hand, because each prop has its own bones, so I’ve got 20-30 bones I gotta rearrange lol, just figured I’d mention it

Now that we can reorder bones, it'd be really nice to be able to select a bunch of bones (such as props in their hand) and move them all at the same time
