Community participants must adhere to simple rules of conduct: common sense, civility and good neighborliness. Frank discussion is welcomed and encouraged with the goal of arriving at the best technical solution possible.
Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:
- Using welcoming and inclusive language
- Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
- Respect and acknowledge all contributions, suggestions and comments from the community
- Gracefully accepting constructive criticism.
- Assume people mean well
- Focusing on what is best for the community
- Showing empathy towards other community members, help each other.
Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:
- Discussion about the people participating in development is not welcomed.
- Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission.
- Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
- Public or private harassment.
- Ad hominem attacks.
- The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
QA-Board is currently an open-source project sponsored by Samsung. Maintainers will keep the project open-source friendly by using public tools as the main communication channels. They will keep these open and friendly.
