Visited links are pretty awfully close in color to unvisited, and although I have pretty decent eyesight on the whole, it's hard to make out whether I've been to question X without looking for a second or two. Not fun.
I tried a quick hack but it's a) visually ugly and b) too scattershot in effect, so I'm not going to post it.

There's a balancing act going on here. The old visited link color (and pretty much anything darker than what we've got now) is more distinguishable from non-visited links but blends in with regular text, which is even more problematic. We could target just question links on the overview but that lands us with inconsistent visual cues.
I'm open to suggestions on how to solve this, but we need to be careful when fixing one thing not to screw the pooch elsewhere.
