For common questions we get such as "what framework do you recommend?" or "what PHP resources are out there?".

What do you think?

+1 on the condition of this making an appearance for "what motivational video do you recommend on a Friday".

@FabienO it's a bit different in that I want a FAQ for the chat room. Things that get asked over and over in the chatroom that people get tired of repeatedly answering. (Not necessarily things that were asked and answered on main).

@J7mbo stop being an ass cactus.

Eh, I don't know.

The framework question seems highly subjective. With a lot of different factors determining what framework is best for you I'm not sure this fits a general FAQ page.

As for good PHP resources why don't we just point to an already existing list of resources? https://github.com/ziadoz/awesome-php comes to mind.

Got anymore examples on what kind of questions should be in something like this?

I like the idea to have something community redacted thingy with that. But right know I can't take care to create an initial version.

Well, maybe give a choice of things what you want to do, how you think you will do it… and then propose a framework. (rdlowrey/Arya is always the correct answer btw., just like 42)

@MadaraUchiha are you still wanting to do this, or do you want it to be part of the FAQ?

No, I fear that we'll do this effort, and it'll be in naught because it'll have to be updated and maintained and not likely used very much.

I'm not sure anymore myself. What do the others think?

Jeeves' "canon" plugin already sort of maintains this list in a more accessible way, in that it can be controlled directly from chat.

It would probably be possible to sync this list with the pages repo, which might be worth doing.
