A nice addition to QRiS would be the ability to create subbins or subcontainers under each bin. For example, I would like to group all the orthomosaics under the 'Surfaces' bin into one bin named '2024 Imagery' since I will be adding addiitonal imagery for 2024 and would enhance the organization of these surfaces.

Version 1.0.5 will have a new feature that lets you group Surfaces by Type or by Metadata tag:

When the user selects Group By Metadata Tag, they will be given a list of all the Metadata tags for the Surfaces. After selecting a Metadata key, the Surfaces will be grouped by the values for that key. Any surface that does not have that key will be listed outside of the groups at the bottom.

I think this will accomplish what you are after, and should provide a bunch of different options for grouping your Surfaces (just make different keys with appropriate values to group by).
