[bug] Progress update slider doesn't work in mobile devices

Issue Description

The progress slider in the detailed task page doesn't update the task even after the 10s wait but is working fine on the desktop

Expected Behavior

should also be able to update the progress percentage from mobile devices as well

Current Behavior

Users are not able to update the progress slider from the phone , no toast toast for success nor failure is shown

Steps to Reproduce

(be on mobile devices)

1. go to task page
2. select the task
3. go to the detailed page
4. try updating the progress by some percentage
