I tested Rare and it works great for downloading and managing games, however, in my TV, there are certain UI issues:

  • Fonts too small, and some are very difficult to read (e.g percentage of a download)
  • A lot of unused, specially, in the top, bottom and between games.
  • There are 3*13 games in screen, which is very confusing to navigate.

This is a screenshoot of a small part of my screen (3840x2160)

I think you should consider "big picture" interface similar to Steam or GameHub.

Currently I do not think we have the manpower to add a secondary interface. That being said, if you could update the issue with screenshots of specific problematic areas in large screens and possible suggestions, we can adjust the current UI to behave better in these situations.

Sure, thanks for the response. Another area of concern are the icons, which are incredible small:

And the search game input box looks lonely in the middle of the screen:

What is the DPI of the monitor? Is it a HiDPI one? As far as I can see, the font is scaling proportionally, it explains the huge text under the game icons, but the icons do not. It is expected and a shortcoming to be fixed.

It is not a monitor, but a 65 inch Samsung TV. I'm also using a 300% scaling in Gnome.

Ok, that is useful information. Thanks.
