I bypassed the compatibility issues of updating enketo-core 8.0.0 to the old non-monorepo-based enketo-express (i.e. the obvious issues that caused building failures). Hopefully, there are no other hidden issues. Otherwise, this "dirty" update may have turned out to be a mistake (and #717 would have been a better approach).
