I guess this is more akin to an update request? Lightly already exists in Nixpkgs but hasn't been updated in more than two years, and what you're linking to is an updated fork of it

yup. So an update request is fine?
I made this a package request because there was already a fork boehs-lightly but even that is unmaintained.
Is it fine for this fork to update the main pkg lightly or should it just be another pkg like Bali10050-lightly, given this is a maintained fork w/ qt5 & qt6 support?
