The GTG code is protected intellectual property and is not available to the public. Only approved persons will be allowed access to the repository.

How to clone GTG repository

1. Clone the EMC_post repository

 `git clone https://github.com/NOAA-EMC/EMC_post`

2. Change directories to EMC_post

 `cd EMC_post`

3. Run the manage externals checkout script to clone the GTG code. Enter your github credentials.
* Use the appropriate Externals.cfg for the application you wish to run. (e.g. Externals.cfg or Externals_GSL.cfg) * You may need to edit the .cfg script URL entry to use HTTPS or SSH link depending on your setup. For ssh links: repo_url = [email protected]:NCAR/UPP_GTG.git For https links: repo_url = https://github.com/NCAR/UPP_GTG

./manage_externals/checkout_externals -e Externals.cfg [Enter github credentials]

If you have been previously granted access to the GTG repository, these procedures will populate the code in to EMC_post/sorc/post_gtg.fd directory.
