The rescale values and layer names defined in the dataset file for the dashboard generally work for the E&A page. Sometimes, these are not optimal for the data story, either because of they story they are trying to tell or because it is geared towards a less technical audience.
The idea here is that within a story mdx file you could provide separate rescale values or layer names that would supersede the previously defined values in the dataset mdx file (or in STAC, if that metadata shifts there)
Acceptance Criteria
Story administrators can configure rescale values and layer names for a map, map comparison, or scrollytellling widget to appear within that one instance of the widget
