Verification instructions

How can the releases be verified exactly....? Have tried to import the public key provided with the releases, but get the response: "gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found" from the MEW-PUP-KEY-GPG file.....?

I am also lost with this.
Downloading etherwallet-v3.28.0.zip and etherwallet-v3.28.0.zip.sig.
Now what? I would like to check if the file was tempered with, but I don't see any documentation / instructions to verify the signature.

Having gpg at hands, I don't find anyones gpg keys to even start with... and this also dows not work:

gpg --verify etherwallet-v3.28.0.zip.sig  etherwallet-v3.28.0.zip

Same problem here, tried with gpg verification, but "the data could not be verified" error
