Audi A3 8V smartphone interface - no Carplay response when connect USB

Hi there everybody. I have a 2017 Audi A3 8V, I followed Mr.Fix instructions in Youtube in order to update the MIB firmware in my car and cannot find a way to have Carplay response from the car when my iPhone (or other iPhone, I have tried several phones and cables) is connected to the car.

MHI2_ER_AU37x_P5089 with software 1326 here.
Everything works but when I try to connect through the cable in either USB sockets, I can see my iphone (Carplay) under Audi smartphone in Connection Manager, but when I select it nothing happens in the phone, apart from the charging noise, no Carplay dialog or anything, the connection is trying to be stablished for a few seconds and the refused somehow, and deselects from the Connection Manager.

I have tried reupdating firmware P5089 again to the car, but when I try to update Red Engineering Menu says all is updated and does not let me do it again.

Anyone has a clue on what might be the problem?

I have the exact same issue on my 8S TT. Just posted on the TT Forums about it, maybe will get some feedback or ideas from there.
