So I decided to use Axiom for a quick n easy video to timelapse conversion by using the speed metric and deleting the audio stream.
This works great.
But then I decided to save this as a preset and this is where it starts to go wrong: Upon reloading the preset, axiom shows the preset settings correctly in the UI but then acts as if it had a different preset loaded in when converting.
How to replicate:
Set MP4 format
Set Speed to 100%+ (I used 100000%)
Set Audio Codec to None
(If you want, you can convert to verify that it works as expected, an easy tell is the amount of dropped frames the command line lists)
Then save this as a preset, calling a Timelapse preset or something.
Now close Axiom and launch it again, select the Timelapse preset and try to convert a new file.
You will notice that it generated a command that is ignoring your preset,
