Must be at least 18 years of age by September 29, 2020.
Must be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited degree program at a college, university, or high school at the time of applying.
Show satisfactory progress toward a degree such as, but not limited to, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline such as electrical engineering, human-computer interaction, math, physics, or management information systems.
Be able to demonstrate an interest in computing.
Cannot have been an AnitaB.org-GHC Scholar in 2019.
Faculty Eligibility:
Must be teaching at an accredited college or university at the time of the conference.
Must teach in a degree program such as, but not limited to, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline such as electrical engineering, human-computer interaction, math, physics, or management information systems.
Cannot have been an AnitaB.org-GHC Scholar in 2019.
Includes:
Individual Registration.
Hotel accommodations.
Roundtrip airfare.
Stipend (to be used for travel, meals, and incidentals such as rideshares, baggage fees, etc.).
Scholarship: GHC Women in Boot Camp Scholarship Opens: Januaray 15th Deadline: March 4th Level: Women from alternative tech programs such as boot camps and coding schools Eligibility:
Must be at least 18 years of age by September 29, 2020.
Must demonstrate a desire to work in tech.
Must be able to attend all days of the Celebration.
Must reside in the United States or United States territories.
Must identify as having at least one of the following: A completed certificate from an alternative tech program (e.g., coding boot camp or other accelerated coding program) OR being currently enrolled in an alternative tech program.
Cannot accept more than one award to attend GHC.
Must not be a current college student or faculty member.
Must not have been an Untapped Pathways Grant Recipient in 2019
Includes:
Individual Registration.
Hotel accommodations.
Roundtrip airfare.
Stipend (to be used for travel, meals, and incidentals such as rideshares, baggage fees, etc.).
Must identify as a woman from any of the following groups that are underrepresented in tech: African American, Black, Native American, Alaska Native, Latina, Hispanic, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.
Must be able to pay for out-of-pocket expenses associated with attending the event (e.g.; travel to and from GHC, meals outside of GHC, hotel, etc.)
Must demonstrate a desire to work in tech.
Must be able to attend all days of the Celebration.
Must identify as one of the following: Faculty or staff in K-12 or higher education institution, Student (if under 18, must be accompanied by a chaperone), Government employee, Individual working for a nonprofit, Individual who is currently not employed, Individual working for a startup company (for the purpose of this application, a startup is defined as a company that has been running for no more than five (5) years regardless of how many employees), OR an Individual working in for-profit.
