In-wiki markdown editor to create new pages?

Currently the infrastructure is set up so that all wiki content is in the form of markdown and image files that are then loaded by the server app to create the pages. The original assumption was:

• I or R-T-B would set up the back end (routing, actual page file, etc.) or provide a template razor file to configure the backend
• The contributor would either pull request a markdown file and customize the template file or send us an md file in order to incorporate.

It could be easier to have a built in (rich text?) editor page that lets users create a page themselves and either provide the markdown to them or open a PR to the wiki repo a la NetKAN? he ability to easily edit existing pages would be useful too, and is probably possible, but I dont want to commit until I know itd actually be used.
