Dark mode #7
Comments
First, install them properly. After that, go to "Language" then "User defined language" tabs. In the new window change "User language" to "julia". There are two main problems here. In the below tabs (I mean "Folder & default" and "Keywords list" etc.) open "styler" for anyone that filled. In the "styler" window change black color to any color you like, in the "Foreground" part. Then, fill the "Transparent" checkbox for "background color". After that, restart Notepad++. |
Thanks for the recommendation, it is cumbersome but works. Anyway, I do not see the difference between this solution and just defining a new language by copy&paste of the provided XML file, adjusting all the colors by hand. Sincerely, I was expecting an updated version of the current style that handles correctly Light and Dark modes, or the addition of a new "Julia Dark Mode" style. I understand that nobody is using NP++ to edit Julia, thus this is not a priority nor a real community need, but I thought that posting this issue could trigger the developers to have a look at it. |
