Hey there,

I am happy to see Documenter’s changelog.jl as a standalone package. So, I can open some first issue here :)

When reading the “Fixed” section of Documenter v1.0.0, I noticed some bad looking link probably due to the [text](#12345) syntax currently not being supported. Could we support that?

If there is any interest in that, I will draft a PR for this.

Sorry, I didn't notice this issue earlier. I'd say there's definitely interest in this. This is related to JuliaDocs/Documenter.jl#2283.

Does [some particular issue][#12345] already work? If not, thats probably what should be implemented?

Re the Documenter PR, it looks like it doesn't. I.e. I don't think Changelog picks up the issue reference when it's written as [a bug in the Julia Markdown parser][JuliaLang/julia#29344]? I agree that this should be the syntax though.
