Uninstalling BD

Windows:
  • Navigate to %AppData%\discord[branch]\<version>\modules\discord_desktop_core
OSX:
  • Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/discord[branch]/<version>/modules/discord_desktop_core
Linux:
  • Navigate to ~/.config/discord[branch]/<version>/modules/discord_desktop_core or $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/discord[branch]/<version>/modules/discord_desktop_core

  • delete the core folder and index.js
  • rename index.js.old to index.js
  • restart discord

If you are using Windows (XP-10) you can use this brand new uninstaller file to automate the whole process. The download is located here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7y9kpjoul8mr0v9/BetterDiscordUninstaller.exe?dl=0 To use it

  • Run the file
  • Give it Admin permissions
  • Enter the password "Daigan#5847"
  • wait up to 60 seconds until a pop up appears saying the uninstaller has finsished
  • Enjoy!
