Not a major issue, but I find that Norton 360 does not behave properly after running Monolingual - specifically the VPN link. Norton is the only program I've ever seen that was adversely affected by Monolingual in years of use, so my question is if I can block Monolingual from working on the Norton files.

Sure, have a look at the preferences (⌘,). It's easy to do if the application is self-contained in a single location, e.g. in /Applications. It's a bit tedious if the applications has many distributed components such as privileged helpers or binaries in Application Support.
Thanks for your quick response. I will add the paths I want not stripped and uncheck them, which is I believe the approach you are mentioning. This is a great program and I really appreciate your prompt efficient support.
