The internal representation of reporters is "experimental" for now, so for now "code is the documentation". However, the goal is to document the reporter API as soon as it stabilizes/gets enough CPU/developers hours.

As an example of the Progress Reporters API being "experimental" is that hide and unhide was just (v0.5.0-9000) added to it.
