The timer goes fast
This makes it hard to speed run levels as the time given is incorrect

It's not just the timer in your case, also the music and overall game speed.
What hardware do you have and what version of windows 10?

I am aware of this problem, but am not able to reproduce it. I just pushed some changes to make speedrunning easier though. Specifically, I now have an in-game master timer that will be accurate across any irregular speeds, even if realtime is sped up or slowed down.

I still want to fix this issue though. Have you been able to compile and run from source to help me debug? Or is this from the download?

just for the record, messing with your cpu clock speeds can yeld such results.
