This will make HackathonHackers/moderation relevant again.

The problem with this is that there's a lot of spam posts and hateful posts that we might not want to be logged in our history...

I'm not averse to having (actual, not just off-topic) spam posts being deleted so that it doesn't clog up the records, but otherwise it doesn't seem reasonable to hide it from an audit log because it might offend someone...

I think it would have to be clearly an automatic spam bot to not be logged. Anything else defeats the purpose of logging.
