Maybe using prometheus.io or AWS cloudwatch

  1. Good idea. We are moving to needing something like this.
  2. Prometheus components are largely written in Go do we want bother with that? Are you familiar with Go?
  3. What about something like this: https://github.com/arachnys/cabot. No matter what Free is more important than 99% uptime right now. So I'd say something open source is the right way to go.

Looks fine to me, it was just one of the top results, no preference besides what makes sense
