The GeomScale mentor community will discuss all technical writers' applications and it will rank them taking into account the quality of the proposal, the writer's ability to successfully finish the project, and the potential impact for the GeomScale project. If GeomScale is accepted as an organization, Google will grant a finite number of slots; therefore, we will choose only the best proposals. This implies that it is possible that some proposals will not become GSoD projects even if they are supported by a good techical writer's application.

Technical writers, if you are interested for a project related to GeomScale that is not listed above, please try to find mentors by posting a description of your project idea on the geomscale-gsoc google group. If you find mentors, feel free to add your project idea to this wiki and write an application.
