This would be great as some apps refuses to work

I have the wifi/data chip damaged so... im using lsposed, i dont accept any other framework as my phone is too new (Android 14)

@Cyber2525 I don't know if all applications handle this the same way, but if yours are like F-Droid: Turn on mobile data once gnirehtet is running. It won't use any data, as gnirehtet is on (as far as I can tell), but it will flip some API toggle that says you have internet. It's a little annoying, but it works. At least for F-Droid.

I don't know if this API toggles when the chip is damaged, though. But it seems to toggle before the data connection is established, so it may just be a 'formality'.

But your FR is impossible on Android afaict: For gnirehtet to work it has to register as a VPN. Don't think you can pretend to be a wifi ap without root/excessive hackery.

Similar to the Google Play Store, if you don’t turn on mobile data, apps won’t download. However, when you do turn on mobile data to download an app, it won’t actually consume your mobile data. Quite interesting!
