Per conversation today - @ryanwoldatwork is addressing spam inputs on Touchpoints forms

  • Spam issues - added inputs - getting more inputs that what form owners asked for - ex. TSA airport code
  • Lock down issues -
  • Add validation check on inputs based on question formats
  • standardize Touchpoints outputs - account for spam (ex. thumbs up/down only output 1s, 0s, check for code snippet in open-ended question text)
  • develop a SPAM score to engage FORM owners on tagging spam responses
  • use SPAM score data to understand and fix issue

Spam identification and user handling / affordances

  • list the many different ways spam is being marked
    • @example.com
    • known bulk spam sources
    • multiple IP submissions
  • auto-mark as spam (via application logic that sets the spam_score field)
  • manually-mark as spam (by a user)
  • enable to view only spam responses, and mark an item as not spam
  • enable a user to view non-spam responses, and market an item as spam
