Every issue should include 3 things:

  1. System setup (GPU, CPU, OS version, Blender version)
  2. Most ideally a .blend scene to reproduce this simply. SCREENSHOTS OR RENDERS ARE NOT A SCENE FILE
  3. What the expected behavior or effect is. If possible include the error message.

You can get more information on the error message by opening Window -> Show System Console from blender and copying that text here. On MacOS launch Blender from the Terminal.

Steps to Reproduce

Try enabling the "OpenCL mode" under the debug settings. This older card does not support HIP

In the render settings for this plugin. At the bottom. Choose the checkbox saying "Use OpenCL".

(As a general statement this isn't the place to go to ask about driver settings, only for support of the plugin for Blender.)

Ya now it's working . Works while on Quality > viewport mode > Final . Interactive gives blank viewport . In render Interactive gives error .

@bsavery For some reason transparent BG(on Flim option) doesn't working on viewport ,still showing the HDRI. But works on final render .

Please make a new issue with that so we can track it.

Pro Render can't handle sophisticated scenes that cycles can and just crashes ..., the basic cube renders fine... my machine Asus G15 Advantage edition with AMD Ryzen 9 5980HX with Radeon Graphics & RX6800M , version Pro Render 3.6

Hi, I'm having the same issue here.

Seems like ProRender is glitching with the GPU and interactive mode enabled on Blender 3.6. Hope there is a fix soon.

I am running into the same issue while trying to render the classroom Blender example render except Blender crashes even if nothing is rendered after a few seconds regardless of the current render settings.

That happens even with "OpenCL" selected in debug but it only happens in this particular scene. There's no way to even change the materials to ProRender compatible ones because Blender crashes before you can do that.
