When defining inputs for a translate test the input["data_vars"] is reserved for Fields. If a scalar has to be pass it has to be given to input["parameters"]. The error points to a .shape misuse, make it a hint toward bad usage of data_vars

  • Defining a scalar in "data_vars" or a Field in "parameters" fails gracefully
