The GEOS model uses the extended features of the FMS grid developed at NOAA, including:

  • nesting,
  • regional,
  • doubly periodic.

The API should open access to any grid specifications.

Parent: GEOS-ESM/SMT-Nebulae#34

  • Use this task as a springboard to detail the required changes to NDSL and potentially GEOS integration
