split 2 way road into 2 one way roads at end

why can't split 2 way roads to two 1 way roads at end and start? or just why is there no 1 way roads at all? also so i have to use same road 2 way for example for whole map and all the roads must have same width or intersections are messing up, did i missing information how to do all of this or it is just not possible with this tool? thanks.
