Ability to run ntp-sync via shell

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
An option to run an ntp-sync command from the shell and have parameters such as the NTP server's IP, the timeout and so on.
This in order to write a script that will sync the time when I want to.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
