Some commands use "ping" strings, eg <#....> or <@....> for users to reference roles, channels etc. On the other hand, some expect just the naked ID obtained by "right click > copy ID" in the UI. There are comparative advantages and disadvantages to both these methods, but I think it would make sense to decide on one of them - thoughts?
