I change settings in the Folding client (which I deleted a GPU slot) and check to see if the client saved the settings (which it did). As soon as I restarted the client the settings get reset and start grabbing GPU work. This wasn't that way in earlier clients. I here this is some sort of feature that users wanted in the client. Well, the feature is resetting settings without anyone's knowledge. I didn't find out for months after my last restart. I only found out about this later because I decided to check out my client and there's the GPU that I just got rid of. I did a workaround and workaround should be temporally. Resetting settings is NOT a feature.

Your Environment
F@H Software version: v7.6.21
Operating System: Windows 10

Expected Behavior

Current Behavior
Restart your computer adds the GPU or CPU slot back to the setting when you restart the computer or just the client.
Possible Solution (Optional)
Steps To Reproduce
Remover all CPU or GPU slots.
Restart client or computer.
Slot will be re added.

Impact on my system:
Running Folding@home with the GPU slot results in my system overheating (day or so). Currently a restart (maybe from auto-updating) starts Folding@home with the GPU slot no longer removed which results in either (1) my pausing and removing the GPU slot and never completing the WU running on the GPU or (2) overheating and not completing two WU and loss of potentially days of work time till I am available to handle the situation. My GPU is slow and a WU often takes days on it, so overheating is a real issue even if I attempt to use "pause" to attempt to save the GPU WU.
